David Gebhart, affectionately known as Mr. G to many, is co-owner, founder, and creative CEO behind Global Views, Studio|A Home – A Global Views Company and William D Scott.
David grew up on a red dirt cotton and wheat farm in Southwestern Oklahoma. He attended Texas Tech University as a landscape architecture major, then transferring to The University of North Texas where he received a Bachelors of Business Administration Marketing degree with a fashion emphasis.
Gebhart has garnered a noteworthy 39-year career covering all segments of the home furnishings industry. Starting in a department store training program, he then became a buyer with Federated Department Store brands Sanger Harris, Foley’s May Company, and Macy’s. He was fortunate to learn international sourcing and product development under the tutelage of mentors The Bombay Company in the late 1980’s through 1995. Now over 24 years into this experience, he is widely considered to be a trend-setting leader in home décor.
